If you have medical conditions that prevent you from obtaining individual health insurance, you may still be able to get insured if you own your own business under the following conditions:

  • You have been in business for a year or more
  • Your business is earning enough to cover the insurance premium
  • Your business is the major source of your income
  • You have not applied for or been accepted into an individual plan within 3 years of this date
  • You are within 30 days of your birthday
